A little about me:

I’m going to Grand Valley State University for elementary education.
I live in Grand Rapids, Michigan (Beer City, USA!).
I cannot live without ice cream. Or Starbucks. Or french fries.
I have a lot of house plants that I can’t keep alive.
Sex and the City is my go-to. Carrie is my spirit animal.
I wear two toe rings that I never take off.
I look like Julia Stiles. I KNOW THIS.
Every time I travel, I buy a turquoise ring.
My cat, Dinah, is evil. But I love him (yes, him) anyway.
I have way. too. much. makeup.
And shoes. I work at a shoe store. You do the math.
I have an insane record collection.
I’m 21 and I’m basically an old woman already.
I have the biggest celebrity crush on Jon Hamm. LORD.

I talk a lot about basically nothing. You’re welcome.

Btw, it’s nice to meet you Meredith 🙂 loving your blog so far and staying for the long run. I’m Janice. From your bio, what’s your favourite ice cream flavour? And what’s your favourite thing to order from Starbucks? 🙂

Hi Meredith, I just wanted to stop by and say thanks for following my blog. I decided to check yours out (and it looks like it’ll be fun reading your posts) and I must say I truly love your tag line for your blog! 🙂

Haha @ I know this! You do, OMG! What grade to you want to teach!? And girllllllllllll… Starbucks, French Fries and Ice Cream!? We may be long lost twins. That don’t look alike. And are totally not the same age. But whateves close enough. Love your bio 🙂

Hahah, thanks girl! I think we basically are twins, looks and age don’t matter anyway, right?!
But that’s so cool! I’m loving it right now. I really want to teach either 3rd or 4th graders. I’m currently working with 6th graders and they’re totally too intense for me. They’re so sassy at that age! What do you do?

Oh no, no 6th graders. They aren’t just sassy, they’re mean. 4th is def ideal for me. I eventually want to teach HS but I’m waiting unti the day that I don’t still look like a HS student lol. What made you decide to be a teacher!?

Totally forgot to answer the last question. Currently I work for an online college. I help people determine if our school set up will be a good fit for them and then I help them to get enrolled 🙂 I enjoy it, but I don’t want to be at a desk forever.
